Allocating a driver
As a job is booked, it displays on the Control screen ready to be allocated to a driver.
These instructions assume allocation of a mobile driver, non-mobile drivers can also be allocated, see Progressing a non-mobile booking for more information. For information on how to assign Courier Exchange drivers see Courier Exchange bookings.
Instructions
Within topbox navigate to Bookings > Control.
Locate the booking to be allocated and click the action menu > Allocate Driver.
View the location of any nearby, logged on drivers, displayed by a green icon.
Select your driver:
Enter the driver's name or Callsign to search, or select the green driver icon from the map to select a mobile driver.
If appropriate rates are in place a driver Estimate Earnings figure is calculated.

Click Allocate Driver.
Result
The booking Status changes to Allocating.
Once the driver's mobile device receives the message the status changes to With Driver.
The status remains at Allocating or With Driver until the driver logs to the app to Accept or Reject the job. If a With Driver time-out is set by the Administrator in Admin Settings and the job is ignored for that duration, the job status changes to Ignored.
Drivers swipe the job notification in the app to see Accept and Reject buttons. Accepted mobile jobs show as Allocated, rejected jobs show as Rejected.
If a Driver is allocated multiple jobs in the app they are displayed in order of the collection Ready At date and time.
You can track the location of any allocated driver using location services on their device. Look for the green driver pin symbol on the booking map:

After clicking Allocate Driver topbox displays any logged-in drivers using location services on their device within the radius selected:
Use the slider to increase or decrease the mileage distance from the collection point.
