Courier Exchange bookings
If you have an account with Courier Exchange (CX), you can use topbox to assign bookings to the CX pool of drivers for quoting.
Jobs assigned to CX are created as per standard guidelines, see Adding a new booking. Bookings can be allocated with standard topbox booking settings, or with Service Details to allow more information about the job to be visible to quoting CX drivers, see Adding CX Service Details to a booking.
Your site Administrator must have entered CX password to their Administrator profile to grant CX access to everyone in your company. See Entering Courier Exchange password details. Invoice Terms for CX only must also be entered in Admin Settings.
CX can only accept bookings with future collection delivery dates and times. 15 minutes is added from NOW to any Ready at time, while 30 mins is added to any Deliver by times. If the booking automatically uses future dates then no changes are made by CX.
CX only accepts bookings with a maximum of 12 stops in total. Note that your CX account must be enabled for multi-stop bookings so that you can clearly see extra stops in your CX Admin screens. If you have allocated a multi-stop booking from topbox, but do not see the extra stop in CX, please log a support ticket directly with CX to enable the multi-stop feature.
A booking allocated to CX creates an additional 1 stop deduction from your monthly 'stop' pricing allowance. For example, a standard 'pick & drop' booking is counted as 2 stops; this booking allocated to CX is counted as 3 stops.
The CX pool of drivers are able to view all 256 characters of your Notes at the quotation stage if you enabled viewing in the Service Details box. Use the notes to display important information regarding the CX quote stage such as "vehicle must be at least 3 metres long". Because the notes are visible to all drivers in the pool (if enabled), do not enter personal data such as names or phone numbers if you do not have permission to share that information.
