Adding CX Service Details to a booking

Specific CX requirements can be entered during booking creation or as the job is edited via the Control screen.

Instructions

  1. Do one of the following:

    1. If entering CX details at booking creation, click the Service Details button next to the Service drop-down.

    2. The options that you see by default are controlled in Admin settings. Talk to you topbox Administrator to change these.

    3. If the booking is on the Control screen, click the action menu > Edit Booking, and then click Service Details.

  2. Complete the required fields:

Field

Description

CX Suggested Vehicle

This option marks the job in CX as requiring the suggested vehicle. Drivers whose vehicles do not meet these requirements should not submit quotes.

CX Body Type

This option marks the job in CX as requiring the suggested body type. Drivers whose vehicles do not meet these requirements should not submit quotes.

CX Freight Type

This option marks the job in CX as requiring the freight type. Drivers who cannot meet these requirements should not submit quotes.

CX Packaging Type

This option marks the job in CX as requiring the suggested packaging. Drivers who cannot meet these requirements should not submit quotes. Selection of this field sets the No. of Items field to mandatory where a number of 1 or above must be entered.

CX Dimensions

This option marks the job in CX as requiring a vehicle that supports the total dimensions of the package(s). The dimensions entered must account for all packages if multiple items are requested. Drivers whose vehicles do not meet these requirements should not submit quotes.

CX Items

This option marks the job in CX as requiring collection for the No. of items entered that have the combined Gross Weight.

CX Notification Radius

This option makes the job available only to drivers within the radius selected. The maximum distance is 30 miles.

CX Additional Options

This option marks the job in CX as requiring the additional options. Drivers who cannot meet these requirements should not submit quotes.

Proof-of-delivery hard copies required

This option marks the job as requiring POD hard copies in the CX Driver's email notification and app load notes.

Include Address Notes in CX Driver Pool:

This option makes visible any stop address notes for drivers in the CX quoting pool.

Include Address Notes for Allocated CX Driver

This option hides any stop address notes for drivers in the CX quoting pool. If notes were entered they are sent only to Allocated CX drivers.

  1. Click Save.

Result

The CX service details have been added to the booking and will be visible to quoting CX drivers when allocated to CX. See Allocating a CX driver for more information.

Validation of options

Currently no validation is performed on the various combinations of service types that are entered. However CX does not always accept some combinations of service. If you cannot allocate you booking to CX and a red error produces, please check your combination of options.
