Entering Courier Exchange password details
Before you can allocate bookings to CX, the topbox Administrator must enter a unique user name and password in topbox Admin Settings to grant access. .
The user name and password that you enter in topbox must be unique, a user must not log to the CX website using these details or else the connection fails.
Creating the Unique CX Account
Log to the CX website using your company's CX admin user name and password.
From the hamburger menu select USERS / DRIVERS.
Click the Add User / Company Driver green button.
In the new profile:
From the Role drop-down select Company Admin.
Make sure not to tick the Will this user be classified as a driver? box.
Make a note of the Username and New Password you create.
Other mandatory fields can be entered with data of your choice.
Click Save.
Linking topbox to Courier Exhange
Within topbox click your profile in the top right and corner of the screen and click Admin Settings.
Switch on the Enable CX option.
Enter your CX Customer Account ID.
Enter the unique Username and Password created in the instructions above.
Enter your CX Driver Invoice Terms.
Under Default Service Details enter what settings you would like all topbox bookings to default to.
Click Update CX Settings.
Result
All users in your company can now allocate bookings to Courier Exchange. Please ensure users doing so have watched the relevant CX training video:
If the Service Details box in Admin Settings and a new booking does not populate its drop-downs, it is because the user name and password entered in Admin Settings is not unique, refer to the instructions above.
