Factoring an invoice

Invoice factoring is type of invoice finance where you sell some or all of your company's invoices to a third party (such as a bank) as a way of improving your cash flow and revenue stability. A factoring company pays you most of the invoiced amount immediately, then collects payment directly from your customer at a later date.

Factored customers have different invoice footer message to un-factored customers. If you would like to use invoice factoring, we need to configure your invoice template with your required factor footer message, contact help@topbox.pro for configuration.

Instructions

  1. Within the Customer > Finance tab, enable the Factored option.

  2. Enter a unique customer Factoring Number provided to you by your factoring company.

    • If you do not use factoring numbers or references insert the customer account number.

  3. Click Save.

Result

The customer invoice is generated and displays the specific factored invoice footer message.
