Adding a service type

Before you can create a rate card, a service type must be created.

Instructions

Within topbox navigate to Setup > Pricing > Service Types.
Click the + button.
Enter a Name for your service.
Select a Vehicle (choose the closest vehicle match available).
Select a Category (this currently defaults to Sameday).
Confirm the service should be Active.
Click Save Service.

Result

The service type can now be given a price in a rate card.

Updating a Service Type

You can update the details of any service type.

Instructions

Within topbox navigate to Setup > Pricing > Service Types.
Click on the Service Type you wish to edit.
Update the required information.
Click Save Service.

Result

The existing service type details have been updated.

Deactivating a Service Type

You can deactivate any service type that is no longer required.

Instructions

Within topbox navigate to Setup > Pricing > Service Types.
Click on the Service Type you wish to deactivate.
Toggle off the Active option.
Click Save Service.

Result

The service type has been deactivated and is no longer available in rate cards. It is hidden by default on the Manage Service Types screen but can be viewed by selecting the Show Inactive Service Types option
